Friction pendulum bearing is a new isolation bearing developed on the basis of the theory of Friction Pendulum System. Now, it is widely used in highway, railway, bridge and civil architecture in Europe and America. TJGZ- Friction pendulum bearing makes use of the mechanics principle of simple pendulum to extend structural natural period of vibration; it also achieves the purpose of power-wasting by optimizing the friction coefficient of sliding surface. TJGZ- Friction pendulum bearing has three types as fixed bearing, one-way flexible bearing (horizontal and longitudinal) and multidirectional flexible bearing. Under frequent external load (such as frequent seismic force and train braking force), the fixed and one-way flexible friction pendulum bearing will limit the two-way and one-way movement of the bearing through spacing board; under strong external load (such as designed seismic force), the bolt on the spacing board fails from shear and the bearing will achieve two-way displacement pendulum motion and realize the function of seismic isolation and power-wasting.

Shanghai - Kunming High-speed Railway
Shanghai - Kunming High-speed Railway is an east-west railway to link Shanghai and Kunming, Yunnan Province, which consist of original Huhang Railway, Zhegan Railway, Xiangqian Railway and Guikun Railway. To make it possible that national railway operation speed reaches 250 km per hour after the 6th speeding up in 2007, this project adopts 2452 friction pendulum bearings.
Yumeng (Yuxi-Mengzi) Railway
Yumeng (Yuxi-Mengzi) Railway is an important project for implementing the western development strategy and also the major part of east line of planned Fanya Railway- Yunnan international railway. It starts from Yuxi South Station, Yunnan, passes by Tonghai and Jianshui and ends in Mengzi. The total length is 141 km with 14 stations and the designed speed is 120 km/h. After it is built, at first it is open for freight and then for passengers. This project uses friction pendulum bearing.
