Lock-up device bearing (LUB) is the combination of bearing and Lock-up device (LUD). It could redistribute the stress of each pier at the same time of maintaining the function of bearing. Under normal operation of bridge, TJGZ- Lock-up device bearing will function as ordinary bearing without using LUD; under the effect of braking force, wind load or seismic load, the LUD will lock up automatically, then, the former shifting bearing will transform into fixed bearing instantly and the movable piers will turn into fixed piers to distribute the horizontal load of superstructure to each pier effectively. Thus, it reduces the stress of former fixed piers and makes the design of the piers more reasonable.

Because of the lock effects of the LUB, it can distribute the stress power of the pier, and optimize the size the abutment, reduce the cost, it is economic.
